House Bill 366:

A bill introduced to amend Ohio Revised Code ("ORC") Sections 955.11 and 955.221 to remove pit bulls from the definition of "vicious dog" and to authorize the adoption of local ordinances or resolutions that define "dangerous dog" and "vicious dog" more broadly than State law defines those terms.

CAO does not support House Bill 366.

House Bill 568:

Pit Bull Extermination Bill!

The Bill was introduced to amend Section 955.11 of the ORC and to enact ORC Section 955.111 to prohibit the owning, keeping, or harboring of pit bull dogs beginning ninety days after the effective date of the act and to require specified officers to seize all pit bull dogs after that date.

CAO does not support House Bill 568.
